Priced by meetings, not by headcount

Direct answer

What does Donna cost? There is no per-seat licence. On the hosted service at donna.flocci.in usage is metered in credits — attending a meeting, transcribing its minutes, delivering a report — starting from a one-time grant plus a monthly free allowance, with packs sold in rupees. Deployed privately, you pay only your own server and your own metered API usage.

Two ways to run her

Hosted, metered in credits

Sign in with Google and she is in your dashboard in minutes. Usage draws on a credit wallet shared across every Flocci product; billing, packs and receipts live at account.flocci.in. Org workspaces bill to the organisation’s wallet, so a team’s spend is one line rather than a per-person subscription.

Deployed privately, metered by your providers

For teams whose recordings must not leave their own perimeter: Donna runs on infrastructure you control, recordings land on your disk and reports in your database, and there is no subscription in the path at all — only your server and the transcription and analysis usage on your own keys.

What actually consumes credits

Metered actionWhen it is charged

You upload an existing recordingCharged before processing
You ask the archive a questionCharged before the answer
Each minute of audio transcribedSettled after the meeting, on the real duration
Each report deliveredSettled when the read is written — including a re-read through another lens

Work that has already happened settles honestly after the fact — a four-hour meeting bills for the four hours it really ran, not an estimate taken at join time. Current credit costs per action and the price of a pack live on your billing page, which is the single source of truth; no figure is duplicated here to go stale.

Where the credits come from

Structure beats discounts

Per-seat notetakers charge for the engineer who attends one review a fortnight at the same rate as the account executive who lives in calls, and the bill grows on hiring days rather than busy weeks. Published 2026 plans across this market commonly sit between roughly $9 and $30 per seat per month (checked 29 July 2026 — see the comparison pages for each vendor’s own figures). Usage pricing inverts that: a quiet fortnight costs almost nothing, and your sixteenth teammate costs nothing until they meet.

Cost shape, not cost claim:  SaaS = seats × months.  Donna = meetings actually attended.

Questions, answered straight

Can I try the analysis before a bot joins a real meeting?

Yes. Upload an existing recording from any platform and the full pipeline runs on it, so you judge report quality on your own material first. The upload is metered like any other work.

What happens if I run out of credits mid-month?

Actions that have not started yet — joining a meeting, uploading, asking the archive a question — are blocked with a buy link rather than failing silently. Work already under way settles honestly and can overdraw, because a finished report is never thrown away over billing.

Does a re-read through another lens cost again?

It bills as one report, since the analysis pass genuinely re-runs. It does not re-transcribe the meeting, so it costs less than the original run.

What do team workspaces cost?

Org workspaces spend from the organisation’s wallet, and seat entitlements for an org are managed centrally at account.flocci.in. Donna itself never does credit arithmetic — the shared payment service is the only authority on price.

Is private deployment available to anyone?

It is a hands-on engagement rather than a download button today: write to us with your meeting load and infrastructure and we will tell you honestly whether hosted or private is the better fit for you.
